Here’s the part that makes this extra stupid — none of these episodes have even aired yet. Nobody was confused. Nobody complained. Nobody noticed. This correction exists entirely because I caught myself and refused to let it sit there quietly mocking me.

So no, this is not a response to listener feedback. This is a preemptive strike against my own bullshit.

Here’s the correct order, carved into stone so I don’t have to explain it again:

• Episode 1338 starts the Nine Inch Nails deep dive.
• Episode 1339 is a palate cleanser.
• Episode 1340 continues the Nine Inch Nails deep dive.

That’s it. That’s the universe. That’s how numbers work.

My working theory involves sleep deprivation, caffeine abuse, and a brief alien abduction where the probe went straight for the math center.

Or maybe Papa Smurf showed up and rearranged the numbers out of spite. Hard to say.

The important thing is this: the music is right. The plan is right. The deep dive is intact. Only the episode numbers briefly wandered into traffic and had to be dragged back onto the sidewalk.
