A Band with Power, Purpose, and Grit
Morningstar is a hard rock/metal band from Madison, Wisconsin, blending thrash, classic, and modern hard rock into a sound that’s both emotionally resonant and thunderously heavy. Think anthemic choruses, intense riffs, and theatrical live shows — all delivered with heart. Initially told they were “too heavy” for rock shows and “too light” for metal, they carved out their own niche, and it’s paid off.
Their debut album Between Your World and Mine won Hard Rock/Metal Album of the Year at the 2023 Madison Area Music Awards. In 2024, they were finalists for Artist of the Year, Performer of the Year, and Hard Rock/Metal Band of the Year — and they’re showing no signs of slowing down.
Their live shows are part rock concert, part cinematic experience, with fog, lighting, and stage presence to match their sonic punch. It’s no wonder they’ve shared stages with Taproot, Smile Empty Soul, Bobaflex, Royal Bliss, and Stitched Up Heart.
