Happy Monday kids, hope everybody had a great weekend. Thanks to everybody who pledged during our ride with WORT summer Drive. We really do appreciate it.

I wanted to point out quickly that I have done some major updates to the rolling with scissors website. I think it’s a cleaner layout. Hope you all enjoy it.

 On this weeks episode we’re going to do a deep dive that we have never done. In fact, I went digging and the last time Mudhoney was played on this program was June 1997. I’m pretty sure the only thing we played back then was touch me I’m sick. That was the big track of the day. Even then it was old, but I remember finding it in the record library at the station, and being like we have to play this. If you don’t know who they are, you will learn on this weeks episode. They were the beginning of the grunge movement. There were a lot of people in the beginning, but these guys did not get nearly the amount of recognition that they deserved, especially compared to bands like Soundgarden Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice In Chains. In my opinion, it really started with these guys. You can disagree with me if you want to in fact if you do disagree why don’t you jump into the comments and explain to me why you don’t feel that way.

There is actually more material than we can fit into one episode. This means only one thing at some point in the future, we will explore the rest of their catalog.
