Framed and Bound: A Decade of Razor to Wrist History

I finally did it. Instead of letting another killer band shirt get destroyed by the infinite cycle of the washing machine, I decided to preserve some absolute gold.

It’s a full-on collage of all the Razor to Wrist Records history I’ve collected over the years, anchored by the absolute best Polkadot Cadaver shirt I’ve seen in a hot minute.

The Milwaukee Rescue Mission

A massive shout-out to Cinnamon (the Emu) for picking this shirt up for me at Metal Fest in Milwaukee. To be completely honest, this design made me laugh so damn hard when I first saw it online, but I missed my chance to order it. I’m glad the guys had some left at the Milwaukee show.

The tragic irony is that I haven’t actually been able to see them live in about ten years. For some bizarre reason, my body always decides it’s time for surgery at the exact same moment they roll into my vicinity. Every. Single. Time.

Studio Worthy Art

People are inevitably going to ask, “Lucas, why don’t you just wear the shirt?”

Because graphic tees have a shelf life if you actually use them, and this masterpiece deserves better than cracked ink and a stretched collar. I figured framing it up alongside a history of Razor to Wrist stickers was far more appropriate artwork to hang in the studio.

We’ve been blasting Dog Fashion Disco, Polkadot Cadaver, and everything else Todd and the crew have put out for a lifetime on Rolling with Scissors, and all the way back on Gimp Radio back in the day. It’s a legacy worth putting behind glass.

It’s not on the wall just yet, but it’s getting mounted later on today.

Huge thanks to the bands, the label, and Cinnamon for the assist. Stay classy.
